When People You Care about Need Help…
Psychiatric Assessments - Comprehensive diagnostic assessments performed by our child/adolescent and adult psychiatrists help families and individuals identify their clinical distress and determine which services will best meet their needs.

Psychological and Psychoeducational Testing – Comprehensive psychological, developmental, and educational tests/assessments conducted by our licensed clinical psychologists help families, schools, and treatment providers understand the nature and degree of cognitive, developmental and functional challenges an individual may or may not experience.

Individual Therapy - Skilled, licensed therapists help individuals grow toward social, emotional and behavioral health as they address issues related to depression, anxiety, grief and loss, sexual/physical abuse and trauma, adjustment problems, anger management, and relationship difficulties.

Family/Couples Therapy - Seasoned licensed clinicians help facilitate growth and improvement in family relationships by teaching families to constructively confront their issues, communicate in ways that promote healthier responses
to life’s stressors, and make necessary adjustments to restore peace, safety and cooperation in the home.

Group Therapy - Master group clinicians facilitate supportive and educational group therapy sessions designed to help individuals share their struggles in a safe, intimate and healing environment. Participants grow as they learn from the constructive encouragement, experiences and creative solutions of others.

Medication Management - Our child/ adolescent and adult psychiatrists provide psychiatric consults and medication management to help individuals improve their quality of life and symptom management.

Tutoring - Our tutors create Individualized Learning Plans, which are designed to help students (ages 6 – 18) increase their comprehension and improve their academic performance in reading, writing skills, math, computer technology, and science.

Parenting Skills Building Program - Skilled clinicians empower parents to understand and more effectively address their children’s emotional and developmental needs. Parents are also taught behavior management skills that enable them to get their children to cooperate without resorting to physical and emotional abuse. Parents learn what behaviors constitute abuse and neglect charges as well as what laws and services are in place to protect all children. Parents also learn valuable household, money and time management tips designed to help boost their effectiveness. Parents are also linked to community resources that can help address additional areas of need.

Therapeutic After School / Summer Camp - This intensive psychosocial skills development program is designed for elementary age children with emotional and behavioral challenges who struggle with peer and adult relationships. The children receive intensive individual, group and/or family therapy and medication management on site. The staff is trained to manage behavioral crises, teach and model healthy social skills, and coach the youths toward exhibiting more appropriate behavioral responses to structure and stress while engaging in exciting competitive games, arts and crafts, music, dance and field trips. Basic academic skills are reinforced as the children acquire meaningful knowledge about Health, Hygiene and Nutrition. Participants also learn critical social problem solving skills (e.g. clever ways to manage being bullied and teased; anger management skills; how to discern danger and protect themselves; how to appropriately express their feelings instead of acting out; self-calming strategies when feeling overwhelmed with emotions, etc.)

Psychological and psychoeducational testing can be arranged for after school /summer camp participants upon request!
